Over the last 27 years Phillip Scheldt, Ph.D., has filed and administered
over 2,200 trademarks, patents, and copyrights for individuals and major corporations such as Sony, Time Warner, and BMG. Phill's work was also the foundation document presented
by Senator May Bono for the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
As an entrepreneur Phill has been a major share holder
and chairman of the public Company, Curtis Mathes. Phill has also functioned
as EVP of Hall Financial Group
and written over 257 Limited Partnerships that have gone full circle. Phill has orchestrated
sales and acquisition and turnarounds for 13 private companies and launched personally
five successful ventures.
Phill pursued his career as a professor at numerous
universities to include, Juilliard, Eastman School of Music, Kansas University,
Texas A&M, University of Texas, Oberlin College, Oxford University and many
others. Phill received his degree at the age of 19 from Tokyo University
in Early Childhood Musical Development.
Phill has conducted concerts and musicals from Broadway
Theaters, Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, the Budokahn in Tokyo to the Grand Hall
in Beijing. Phill is a chair member of the Board of Arbitration for the National
Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), a member of the American Bar Association
(ABA), holds 3 U.S. patents for the use of LEDs in Stage Lighting and video presentation
systems (similar to the Sony JUMBOTRON), sits on the board of many national charities,
is a member of BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC, hold certificates from the Writers Guild of
America, a member of the Musicians Union, Writers Guild, and Screen Actors Guild
and has published three books.
